Permits quick and efficient removal of SMD chips and flat packs up to 25mm. Plugs into the power supplies of Hakko soldering stations 936, 937, 701 & 702B. Direct heating by tips has less effect upon surrounding components on crowded boards than hot air rework equipment. Tips are easily replaceable and aligned. Tweezer style handpiece operates on a 25W ceramic heating element in each leg. Tip-to-ground resistance is under 2W and leak voltage is less than 2mV. Includes 4-ft. cord, a pair of 2.0mm tips , tip alignment tool, and heat-resistant tip removal pad. Iron holder with tip-cleaning sponge sold separately.
