The 474 LF is a self contained desoldering station. It is constructed from static dissipative materials using ESD design. The heating element and motor features zero-cross switching in order to prevent electrical surges.  An insulated transformer completely isolates the output circuit from the power input circuit.  Minimal clog filter design.
