Features 80 watts of power for faster heat up and better performance even on heavy ground planes and multi-layer boards. Higher power translates into less time spent on the PC board and less potential for damaging components. Temperature is adjustable from 50°C to 550°C using push-button control and a digital display. Utilizes a self-contained internal rotary vane pump, which generates 20.7" Hg of vacuum pressure and airflow of 1 to 10 liters/min., eliminating the need for shop air.

The station is able to identify the tool in use and calibrates itself automaticallyfor the tool in use.

This 700-watt hot air station has advanced features for unsurpassed process control. It is capable of performing demanding repair tasks on PCBs with complex fine pitch surface mounted components. Set and actual temperatures are digitally displayed on the bright, clear LCD panel for added process control. Automatic mode allows up to ten separate programs to be stored in memory, each with a unique air temperature / air volume / process time profile for the ultimate in control and process repeatability. The hot air pencil has vacuum pickup which is activated automatically during component removal. Special ionizing circuit assures hot air is static-free to protect sensitive components. “Stop-and-go” tool holder automatically switches hot air pencil to “standby” mode, reducing air flow while maintaining operating temperature. This unit has a temperature range of 50°C - 550°C, and adjustable airflow of 5 to 50 liters/min.

Combines the WHA3000P hot air rework station, the WBH3000S circuit board holder, and the WHP3000 IR heating plate. 700 watts of power allow work on larger dual in-line and quad pack components. Set and actual temperatures of 50°C-550°C are digitally displayed on the bright, clear LCD panel for added process control. Up to ten separate thermal programs can be stored in memory to ensure process repeatability. The HAP2 hot air pencil provides ionized airflow adjustable from 5 to 50 liters/min. and a vacuum pickup which is activated automatically during component removal. Self-contained vacuum pump eliminates the need for external shop air. Precision glides allow circuit boards up to 310mm x 320mm to be precisely positioned and secured at any point along the X and Y axes. Smooth-acting lever raises and lowers hot air pencil precisely along the Z axis and onto the component being reworked. Swing-away “stop-and-go” feature automatically switches handpiece to “standby” mode when holder is pivoted to the side, reducing temperature and airflow rate. IR heating plate has a total heated area of 120mm x 190mm with three ceramic elements for controlled, even heat. Hot plate can be either manually controlled using its own digital settings or be integrated into the rework station’s control system via an RS-232 interface. System operates on 240VAC, is ESD-safe, and includes rework station power base, HAP2 hot air pencil, handpiece holder, PCB holder with swing-away tool holder, and IR heating plate. A full range of interchangeable hot air nozzles is available and must be purchased separately.

The WHPS80 provides underside heating to the board during rework, reducing the heat requirement from the hot air pencil and therefore minimising the risk of thermal damage to the board, as well as speeding up the repair process. The WHPS80 requires control and power from an external station.

The WHP3000 provides underside heating to the board during rework, reducing the heat requirement from the hot air pencil and therefore minimising the risk of thermal damage to the board, as well as speeding up the repair process. The heated surface comprises of 3 high temperature ceramic elements that ensure fast and efficient heating. An external temperature sensor can be connected to display actual temperatures at specific areas of the board during rework.
