This self-contained, pistol-style desoldering tool features an integrated diaphragm vacuum pump and temperature control unit that are built into the hand-grip section. Simply plug its 3-wire power cord into a standard 240VAC wall outlet and you’re ready to desolder...no factory air is required. Combination of 100W ceramic heating element, tips designed for optimum heat distribution, and sensor-feedback temperature control allow for fast heat build-up and prompt recovery. Temperature can be set (via dial at rear of gun) between 300°C and 450°C. Peak vacuum of 600mm/23" Hg is reached in just 0.2 sec. Quick-disconnect solder filter cartridge can be visually monitored and easily replaced. Internal spike-free, zero-crossover circuitry eliminates leakage current and RF noises. Just a flick of the suction/hot air switch changes the desoldering gun to a hot air blower (requires optional hot air nozzle P/N 72-78-00) with air flow rate of 15 liters/min. for SMD removal. Other features include ESD-safe housing, power on/off switch, and heater indicator lamp. Unit complies with MIL-STD-2000A, MIL-STD-1686A and MIL-HDBK-263A.
